AusIMM WIMnet is a national initiative which support the attraction and retention of women in the minerals industry. Membership is open to all (including non-AusIMM members), regardless of gender.

WIMnet Conference Grants
To increase the number of female presenters at AusIMM conferences WIMnet offers a conference grant for each AusIMM conference, which may be awarded to a female presenter based on merit and need. Grants cover the cost of conference registration, but do not include travel or accommodation. Successful applicants need not be AusIMM members however preference will be given to members.
Women interested in applying for the complimentary conference pass should submit their application of no more than 300 words outlining how they meet the selection cirteria and why they are applying via email to Donna Edwards.
WIMnet partners with other groups on occassion to deliver initatives and activities to members and non-members.
