Attendance

Only preregistered, prepaid registrants will be guaranteed access to the event. Upon receipt of your registration and payment, The AusIMM will send registration confirmation.

Registering On-Site

On-site registrants, with payment only, will be admitted on space availability.

AusIMM Member Rates

To qualify for the special rates of ‘AusIMM Member’ as quoted on the registration booking form you must be a financial (paid) member. AusIMM 2010 Membership Fees were due by 1st January 2010. Non-member registration fees apply to all non-members and non-financial AusIMM members.

Method of Payment

Payment must accompany all registrations. We accept the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners. We accept money orders, company and personal cheques. Purchase orders will be accepted, however copies of the purchase order must be supplied with the registration, purchase order number quoted on the registration form and payment received in full prior to the conference start date.

GST

All prices quoted in this brochure are inclusive of 10% GST.

What’s Included

We welcome all overseas delegates, members, non-members, authors, new professionals and students to register by completing the registration form and returning it with their remittance to Event Management.

  • Author / Delegate / International Delegates / Non-Members / New Professionals Registration includes: attendance at technical sessions and exhibition, conference proceedings, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, Welcome Function and Conference Dinner.

  • Student Registration includes: attendance at the technical sessions and exhibition, conference proceedings, morning and afternoon teas, lunches, Welcome Function and Conference Dinner.
    A Student must be currently enrolled full-time at a tertiary institution. Proof of full-time status must be submitted with the registration form.

Delegate List

Please note that all registered delegates will have their name, position, company and email address printed in a Delegate List. Should you not wish to have your details distributed please notify Event Management as soon as possible.

Confirmation of Bookings

Conference registrations will be acknowledged as they are received with payment in full. Receipts for registration payments will be forwarded separately to the confirmation letter. Please check the confirmation letter and advise of any alterations immediately.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of registration must be by letter, facsimile or email only. Refunds will apply as follows:

  • More than 28 days before the conference – Full Refund
  • 28 – 7 days before the conference – Refund (less A$200 administration charge)
  • 7 days or less before the conference or non-attendance – No Refund (no exceptions)

An organisation may send an alternative delegate if registration has been paid and the registered person is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Event Management must be advised of the change prior to the Conference.

Waiver of Liability

The AusIMM and Curtin University of Technology accept no liability to any persons or body for any loss, injury or damage howsoever and whether directly from any action or cause whatsoever undertaken, organised or sponsored by The AusIMM.

If you have special dietary requirements please indicate your needs on the registration form.

Dress Code

Dress code for the Conference is smart casual.

Conference Proceedings

All delegates will receive a CD ROM copy of the conference proceedings containing full papers. Additional copies may be purchased via the registration form and at the registration desk during the Conference.

Visa Support Letters

Will only be issued to speakers/presenters, international committee members and registered delegates & students. All must have paid their registration fees in full (credit card payments previously cleared and authorised). No exceptions will be made. The Visa letter is for individual use only and is not transferable. The AusIMM will not issue blanket, group, or family letters. Please supply the following information to Event Management via: sfinlay@ausimm.com.au
