The Hays Salary Survey gives a great indication of what salary you can expect to receive as a graduate in the minerals industry and also what you can earn throughout your career.

    Graduate Careers Australia is a peak body with representatives from employers, universities and government. The website is a user-friendly, central source of information about graduate careers and employment, which has been created for students and graduates of Australian universities, as well as employers, researchers and careers professionals.

    A site by the Department of Education, Science and Training that lists hundreds of occupational profiles and information on courses. You can look at an occupation and see related occupations, an occupation profile and all the training and course providers.

    A comprehensive careers web site from the Minerals Council of Australia featuring multimedia profiles, position descriptions and Q&As - must see viewing.

  • Chamber of Mines and Energy Western Australia
    Discovering how to secure a job in the resources sector needn’t be a challenge, thanks to the new Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA (CME) careers website www.peopleforthefuture.com.au. The new site had been designed for people to explore the range of employment possibilities in the resources sector and the skills and qualifications required for specific roles. Users can utilise the Career Finder to select jobs of interest and discover the range of duties performed, skills required and career pathways available for each role. The site also provides details on where to acquire the necessary qualifications for selected jobs, including links to education and training providers.

    APESMA has a wide range of career, student and graduate services. The have an active career management area and also a dedicated students and graduates section. Well worth a look!
