Codes of Practice of The AusIMM

All members of The AusIMM are required under BY LAW 25 to observe and be bound by the terms of the BY LAWS, the Code of Ethics or any other Code of The AusIMM.

  • The JORC Code (Joint Ore Reserves Committee)
    Australasian Code for Reporting of Identified Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.

  • The VALMIN Code
    Code and Guidelines for Technical Assessment and/or Valuation of Mineral and Petroleum Assets and Mineral and Petroleum Securities for Independent Expert Reports.

  • AusIMM Code for Consultants
    Code of practice and guidelines for members of The AusIMM practising as Consultants in the minerals and related industries. All members of The AusIMM are required under By-law 25 to comply with the Code of Ethics and with the Code for Consultants when practising as such.

  • AusIMM Code of Ethics
    Code established to ensure the ethical practice of all members of The AusIMM to promote the integrity of professionals working within the Minerals and related industries. All members of The AusIMM are required under By-law 25 to comply with the Code of Ethics.

AusIMM Complaints Procedure

The AusIMM is committed to corporate, social and environmental responsibility, and has a thorough complaints procedure to investigate any breaches of the By-Laws, Code of Ethics or any other Code of The AusIMM. The below Notice of Complaint may be used to submit a complaint to The AusIMM:
